The New Yamaha T-Max
The T-Max has led the maxi-scooter charge since its introduction in 2001, but with sporty offerings from BMW on the horizon, Yamaha is preemptively maxing-out the T-Max.

BMW gets into Scooter Game
ALHAMBRA, Calif., April 2, 2012 --/PRNewswire/ -- New Century BMWMotorcycles, a premier Motorrad dealer in the LA area, recently received two new BMW Scooters, the BMW C 600 Sport and the BMW C 650 GT. These C-series scooters have a mix of both motorcycle and scooter technology and the same engine chassis, with a rated power outlet of 60 horsepower (the most powerful Vespa has 22 horsepower) and can reach a top speed of 100 mph.

Yamaha Thailand showed an interesting concept bike in Bangkok earlier this week. It's a scooter, but it has been ruggedized, given higher quality and longer travel suspension, extra luggage facility with provision for much more, and a vastly strengthened frame.
